Baffin / Boat House Weekend
Riviera, Texas

This is what happens when you leave your Boat House
unattended for about 2 months.

This is what it really should look like.
It took Anthony and I about 4 hours to undo.
If you have a boat you want to take out to the
south shore of Baffin Bay I have the place to stay.

This is what happens when the water is 1" deeper than the height of your waders.
YES! The water was cold.

Look at the water draining from the back lakes of Alazan Bay.
This picture was taken Sunday 4-5 days after the rain stopped.
Brown tide anyone?

Anthony with the catch of the day.
Like I am going to tell you where our secret spot is!
We are keeping these beauties for ourselves.

Now for the REPORT!

High tides and wind were both present. Good looking water was encountered on the south shoreline of Baffin Bay. All we caught were a few(5) small trout on top waters. We saw some redfish in the shallows but not too receptive to our lures. The reds were hitting a bit sluggish. Alazan Bay was light to dark chocolate milk. Really ugly. The good thing was that there weren't to many boats out.

I truly love the peace and quit out there.
