3rd TRIP to Meacom's Pier in 2003
High Island, Texas

This is why I like going to Meacom's Pier!

Fish #1 and Only! Even thought the weather was not cooperating on this day I did manage to land a beautiful 39" Bull red. I also fought one that was really big and managed to get it to the edge of the pier. I went to reach for the net and lost him somehow. I guess that's why they call it Fishing not Catching. I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit. I know we will be able to catch a whole mess of fish. Please forgive the bad picture. It is hard to take a good picture when you are fishing by yourself.

Now for the REPORT!

It was Rough out there. High winds, heavy fog and rain. I still had a great time. I had 2 runs and landed 1 over size redfish. I am still glad I did not get SKUNKED.
Make sure you get some bait before you get there. It is hard to come by.
